This is a 3 step procedure that exfoliates, hydrates and infuses the skin with powerful anti-oxidant serums. It starts with microdermabrasion, which is a non-invasive form of exfoliation that uses a diamond encrusted applicator to gently sand and at the same time suction dead skin cells away.

Step 2 is the application of an ultra hydrating mask to further exfoliate and detoxify the skin as it boosts cellular renewal.

Step 3 Serums are worked into the skin, followed by Ceramide Lotion and Anti-Aging Protect which will help brighten and stimulate healing to restore younger looking skin.

This procedure has minimal downtime and is appropriate for most skin types. Optimal results can be obtained with three to four treatments spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart. 

Micro-Needling is an industry leading minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment that is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. It is an extremely effective treatment for the reduction of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, scars, stretch marks, and various signs of aging. It naturally stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to improve the firmness, texture and tone of the skin.

Some patients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, most dermatologists recommend that patients receive a series of two to three treatments spaced six to eight weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals.

This treatment is not recommended for clients that are pregnant, nursing, have open wounds, psoriasis or eczema, undergoing or have recently had radiation therapy, history of scaring, or are taking medications such as Accutane or steroids.

We use an advanced, medical-grade automated micro-needling device with highest-quality medical-grade stainless steel needles. 

After Care:

1. It is very important to avoid direct sun and heat during the initial 72 hours after treatment. This includes simple day to day tasks such as gardening, cooking over a hot stove for a long period of time, sitting next to a fireplace, etc
2. Avoid using any Alpha-Hydroxy acid products
3. You may resume your home care regimen when the skin is no longer flaking and peeling
4. Use hydrating and reparative and physical sunscreen products
5. Peptides, antioxidants, vitamins A, C and E, and growth factors work very well
6. Do NOT go outside without sun protection even on a cloudy day
7. Drinking plenty of water is necessary
8. No scratching or peeling
9. It is recommended to limit exercise for a week

Microneedling is generally considered to be a safe and effective treatment, with a few mild side effects and some possible risk. The most common and expected side effects are redness, minor skin irritation and possible peeling immediately following the treatment between 24-72 hours. It is important to follow the post-treatment instructions and guidelines provided to minimize side effects and promote the healthy healing of your skin. Mild bruising is a rare, but possible side effect for clients with very sensitive skin and will tend to heal over the week following the treatment. In extremely rare instances, there is also a risk of bleeding or infection and a physician should be immediately consulted.

 Things to do before Micro-needling:

 • Avoid products containing Retin-A, retinol, Hydroquinone, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, benzoyl peroxide, or bleaching lotions/creams 3-4 days prior
• Avoid anticoagulants and blood thinning medications a week prior to treatment, when possible. Consult your physician if you are taking medication prior to discontinuing any medication.
• No permanent makeup, tattoos or injectables at least 3 weeks prior to treatment
• Do not pluck, wax, bleach or use depilatory lotions/creams a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the treatment
• No tanning 24-48 hours prior
• Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated

Myth

No its not shaving your face. Shaving can only cut hair at the surface. Dermaplaning is removing hair as well as a layer of dead skin. And yes we use surgical scalpel to do it so the results are also flawless and not choppy like your disposable razor. 

Also your hair does not come back thicker, it does not come back black, all that happens is your face is as smooth as baby's bum.

And NO it doesn't hurt at all.

A 10%  or 30%  glycolic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells and boost skin turnover, improving texture and tone. This multifunctional peel targets multiple skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, sun damage and large pores.
